A wall of glass is the most generous gesture in modern residential architecture, and the most demanding. It brings in the view, the light, the heat, and, after dark, the whole neighborhood’s line of sight.
Motorized shading resolves all of it quietly. Fabrics are selected with your interior designer for openness, color, and hand. Pockets and headrails are detailed into the ceiling with your architect so nothing is surface-mounted after the fact. And the whole system moves on schedule, following the sun around the house.
Done well, the shades are the thing nobody sees and everybody feels.

Pockets get designed, not discovered
Recessed shade pockets, closure details, and fascia have to be coordinated with framing and ceiling details early. Retrofitting a pocket into a finished ceiling is the kind of expense nobody enjoys explaining.

Fabric is an interior design decision
Openness factor, weave, color, and how a fabric reads against daylight all change the room. We present options alongside your designer rather than handing over a binder.

Color is not limited to a swatch book
Some of the shading systems we specify print fabric to order, in well over a thousand custom colors, with patterns or graphics if the room calls for them. A precise match to your designer’s palette is a specification, not a compromise.

On a run of windows, hems should land in a straight line and roll evenly. That is a function of specification, tube sizing, and careful commissioning, not luck.

Are motorized shades noisy?
Quality systems are very quiet, quiet enough that shades opening in a bedroom will not wake a light sleeper. Noise is usually a symptom of undersized motors or poor installation rather than motorization itself.
Can motorized shades be added to a finished home?
Yes. Battery-powered and wireless motorized shades are designed for exactly this situation and can be installed in a finished home with no wiring and no damage to ceilings or walls. Hardwired systems remain the better choice in new construction and major renovations.
Do motorized shades work with lighting control?
They should. When shading and lighting are on one platform, the house can hold a comfortable light level through the day by trading daylight against electric light automatically, and a single 'goodnight' or 'movie' scene can move both at once.
Why can’t I buy these shades myself?
The motorized shading systems we install are sold through certified integrators rather than retail stores. That is deliberate: measuring, pocket detailing, motor sizing, and programming are what make a run of shades align, stay quiet, and work with the rest of the house.
Can I still use my interior designer’s fabrics?
In most cases, yes, many shading systems accept custom and designer fabrics, and motorized drapery tracks work with your designer’s own drapery. We prefer to work this way, because the window treatment should answer to the interior scheme rather than to a hardware catalog.
Do you install motorized shades throughout Atlanta?
